But Mansfield Park is doing it in style, interpreting classics and serving slices in a modern way:

The combinations are constantly changing according to the seasonal fruit availability, but there are also staples like the pistachio berry combo and passionfruit quark cream cake.

The thing that makes the cakes at Mansfield Park special:

The cocoa and chocolate, nuts, nougat and sugars are sustainable and fair, fresh ingredients are either regional or organic from European neighbouring countries.

Not everyone is crazy about cream cakes in Berlin, so there's always a selection of delicious refined sugar free bars, vegan chocolate chip cookies and loaf cakes that you can grab on the go, without a reusable container from VYTAL. The concept is sustainability so there is no single use packaging. But the Mansfield Park Café is cozy and kid friendly, equipped with comfy furniture, worthwhile a stay.

with beans from the Quijote collective in Hamburg.

are made with oat milk, but a soy cappuccino is also an option.

In addition, after extensive research, there are now caffeine-free espresso drinks made with coffee beans from the Maya Coffee Roastery. They taste quite good and are good for mothers who can't drink caffeine.

Matcha Latte & Hot Cocoa

with green tea powder from a volcanic island in South Korea, fair trade and organic, and made entirely without water and free of refined sugar.
A highlight is the hot cocoa – raw ceremonial cocoa, grown and processed in Ecuador. Refined with spices and a tiny bit of agave syrup.

The black tea blend with whole various spices from Prana Chai in Australia is not one of those overly sweet powder mixes.

There are two homemade lemonades available – one with delicate raspberry puree and elderflower syrup, the other one with passion fruit and orange syrup.

Nordic style

with lots of personality

Focal point of this vegan café is the beautiful handcrafted bar with light off-white tiles. The space isn't big, but it's also not filled with unnecessary stuff. There is just enough seating for 20 guests, comfortable chairs and sofas, tables made from wood that once was a door as well as books and games to pass the time with.

Especially on weekdays, there are families coming together to have their kids play or draw.

When it's warm outside, we put colourful and comfy seating as well as parasols outside, so the visitors can enjoy a lengthy stay!

a mission

and a vision

The mission is to create awareness.

Through my range of sustainable baking ingredients, like fair chocolate and cocoa. An awareness for the alternatives. Alternatives to animal products. I hope to make vegan baking and cooking accessible for lots of people. That's why I offer affordable food and also vegan baking events, so more people can learn and enjoy great vegan meals.

The vision is to have fair ingredients and vegan recipes in every kitchen, but also to raise awareness for sustainability. We have to change our consumer behavior and vegan food plays an important role!

Many guests are surprised that there is no single-use packaging, such as coffee cups for takeaway. One reason for this is that nearly 2.5 billion single-use cups were used in Germany in 2023 and for just an average of 5 minutes.*

Of course, it's often easier to quickly grab a coffee or a slice of cake in single-use packaging than to eat in or always carry your own reusable cup/snack box, but we deciced that we as a business want to make a difference. Because most gastronomy on Berlin doesn't care about, but we have to!
